Position Summary:
Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to patients requiring Manual Uterine Aspiration (MVA) procedures and related reproductive health services in an outpatient clinic setting.
Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and assess patients for MVA procedures comprehensive history, physical examination, ultrasound review and laboratory assessment.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, sonographers and administrative staff to coordinate patient care.
• Perform Manual Uterine Aspiration (MVA) procedures in accordance with established clinical protocols and standards of care.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients requiring uterine aspiration services.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations.
• Prescribe medications as clinically indicated and manage pain control, infection prevention, and post-procedure care.
• Recognize and manage procedural complications and initiate emergency interventions when necessary.
• Document all patient encounters, procedures, and treatment plans accurately.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and provide culturally sensitive, nonjudgmental care.
Qualifications:
• MD, DO, or licensed Nurse Practitioner with an active state license.
• Experience in women's health, family medicine, or reproductive healthcare preferred.
• Prior experience performing Manual Uterine Aspiration procedures is preferred
• Current BLS certification.
