MEDICAL ASSISTANT
There are several openings for the role of part-time Medical Assistant. This rewarding role is available to the ideal candidate, a compassionate Medical Assistant. This person works directly with physicians and nurses to deliver comprehensive medical care and practices in a safe and proficient manner, keeping our policies and procedures and the individual patient’s needs in mind at all times. The Medical Assistant provides direct care to women and their support people under the guidance of the supervising Physician, Nurses, and Clinic Administrator.

This person will advocate for patients and work closely with physicians, nurses and other clinic staff, to provide abortion care in a supportive, non-judgmental environment. This role includes all aspects of medical assisting from greeting patients and assisting with paperwork, running lab tests, assisting the physicians and nurses in patient care and processing and sterilizing instruments. The Health Worker plays an integral role in all aspects of patient and staff safety and needs to have a basic working knowledge of charting, documentation, and risk management issues.

EDUCATION / QUALICATION:
- Education: High school or equivalent (Required)
- Experience: Medical office experience
- License/Certification: Medical Assistance Certification, Nurse Assistance
- CPR Certification

WORK SCHEDULE:
- Position Hours: 24-32 hours a week (including Saturday)
- Job Type: Part-Time
- Availability is needed Monday-Saturday.
- Typical shifts are between 8:30 am – 5:00 pm

- Salary range: $22.00-$25.00/hour based on education, skills, and experience.
