The Registered Nurse (RN) provides primary reproductive health care within their scope of practice, including abortion services, in accordance with established carafem protocols and all applicable state and federal regulations.
This role requires professionalism, clinical excellence, and a strong commitment to client-centered care in a fast-paced outpatient setting. Clinicians work collaboratively with the health center team to support high-quality service delivery, align with carafem’s values, and serve as ambassadors in the communities we serve.
The RN practices within established clinical protocols and does not have authority to establish organizational policy or make employment decisions. Performance in this role is evaluated using carafem’s Annual Performance Appraisal standards.

Qualifications
● Registered Nurse with active license in the state of Illinois
● Current BLS/CPR Certification.
● Current ACLS Certification if sedation is provided at the practice site.
● Experience in reproductive health, abortion care, outpatient procedural care, or community health preferred.
● Demonstrated commitment to reproductive autonomy and client-centered care.
